Worldwide missions outreach

Merriam Christian Chapel has a long history of supporting World Missions. Today, MCC supports nearly 40 missionaries and missions agencies which occupies over one-fourth of our church’s annual giving.

Our church has also been involved in short-term missions trips which encourage people to participate in our world missions outreach. We have taken trips to many parts of the world as well as in our own country. We are excited to be sending a team to Paraguay this summer.

Local evangelism outreach

Our mission here is to proclaim the good news of the Gospel in our local communities through conversation and distribution of Gospel tracts.

Chain O’ Lakes department of corrections ministry

This ministry exists to share the truth and love of the Gospel message to men who are in need of hope and direction.

DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRIES

Adult Bible Fellowships

ABF/Adult Bible Fellowships take place every Sunday morning at 9:15 AM. This is a ministry that consists of people committed to know and apply the Word together in a caring fellowship, with clear organization to provide care, discipleship, and outreach.

Men’s Ministry (LEgacy builders)

This ministry is committed to building godly men to serve Christ in their home, church, career and community.

Community Groups

Our community groups at MCC exist to create stronger bonds of fellowship with a focus upon life application. These groups meet outside of the church in a typical home type environment.

Women’s Ministry

This ministry exists to prayerfully guide women to live for God’s glory. To encourage one another to live out biblical womanhood in a nurturing environment of grace, love, confidentiality and accountability.

WORSHIP SERVICES MINISTRIES

Children’s Ministry

The mission of our Children’s Ministries at MCC is to encourage and assist parents in the spiritual development of their children through age-appropriate worship, Bible instruction, and ministry opportunities.

Teen Ministry

Our mission is to see middle and high school students come to Christ, be discipled through His Word and seek to serve Him for His glory.

Music Ministry

Music at Merriam Christian Chapel is dedicated to the worship of God and to the spiritual growth of His people, the church. It is an integral part of services and Christian education activities. It is our desire to offer to God and one another selections that are doctrinally sound in text, and musically appropriate in setting while always drawing our attention to our Great Savior.

Nehemiah Team

This ministry exists to watch over and protect the flock of God through up to date security and safety measures.

SERVING MINISTRIES

World missionary press

This ministry exists to provide logistical support in helping WMP facilitate the distribution of Scripture booklets around the world.

Sarah’s Circle

This ministry exists to encourage our missionaries by staying connected through prayer and homemade gifts.

Homecare Ministry

The homecare ministry seeks to come alongside those members of our church body who (due to physical limitations) are unable to attend church services. We are committed to connecting with them in a real and natural way in order that they might still feel and experience the love of Christian fellowship.
